What is a Bridal Registry?
A bridal registry is a convenient way for your friends and family to help fund your honeymoon, without the need for traditional gift shopping. Simply choose your dream destination, and your guests can contribute any amount they wish towards the cost of your trip.
How Does It Work?
After you’ve selected your honeymoon destination and before sending out your wedding invitations, we’ll provide you with a special card to include with your invitations. This card contains all the necessary information for your guests to make a contribution towards your honeymoon.
How Are Payments Tracked?
When setting up your bridal registry, we’ll ask you for a list of the guests who will receive invitations and registry cards. This allows us to keep track of contributions and, once the registry closes, provide you with a summary of who contributed and how much (if you wish to keep amounts confidential, we can do that too). We also request your guests’ email addresses so we can send them a receipt acknowledging their generous gift.
Is There a Fee to Set Up a Bridal Registry?
Yes, there is a one-time setup fee of $110.00. This fee covers the creation and maintenance of your bridal registry, as well as the registry cards.
What If Contributions Exceed the Cost of My Honeymoon?
Any funds contributed through your bridal registry are yours to keep. If the total contributions exceed the cost of your honeymoon, the extra amount can be transferred directly to your nominated bank account.
